Description:This technique changes earth into fine sand by channelling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. This effect goes around the body (not just the hands), making it just large enough for a person to move through. The user can pinpoint where they are, despite being underground, by sensing the magnetic forces. They can also sense what is happening on the surface and use that information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. One can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy can't reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to lower or raise the ground in the surrounding area, allowing them to create giant holes or elevations in the ground. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered or raised to is also up to the user. With precise timing, this technique can be used to evade incoming attacks, as well as to endanger opponents by moving them into the path of an oncoming attack reducing their reaction time as well as knocking them off balance, making it even harder to avoid the attack. Other than being moved below or above ground — relative to the surrounding surface — the terrain is not altered as plant life and people retain their same positions when this technique is used.

Description: This is a highly advanced technique that allows the user to split into two separate and entirely independent duplicates of themselves. The duplicate physically separates from the user in any direction. This is a fast process with each duplicate being completely separated in a shorter time than it would take a clone to form. Everything is copied, including clothing, armor, weapons and items. Mastercraft items are copied, though their special effects only apply to one of the duplicates at the user's choice.

The two halves have no discernible difference from one another. In fact, the only difference between them and the original is that their current and maximum Durability and Stamina Points are both halved. Once separated, they can both operate as completely unique characters and, unlike clones, even cross the borders between nations.

The ability to effectively use this technique to immediately create a body capable of competing with another person is governed by the Ninjutsu skill or whatever relevant trait is being used, whichever is lower.

If one dies before they can be merged, the other is completely unaffected with their Stamina Points and Durability. This difference can be restored to surviving duplicate, eventually allowing it to become indistinguishable from the original. This occurs at a restoration rate of 10% of the missing Stamina Points and Durability per week.

Description: Similar to the Mobile Core technique, the user forces a portion of earth upwards. This technique, however, takes the form of a spike of piercing earth. This technique can be used on any surface of earth, but it always moves perpendicular to that surface.

The rising spike pierces the ground at a point but it is dull enough that one could be carried, albeit uncomfortably, to the top just by being in its way. This means that only large targets, or people held down by something that at least matches this technique's Push, would actually take damage from it. If someone resists the Push personally, they take half damage as Partial Damage intends. The technique crumbles once reaching its apex.

Name: Sage Art: Heavens Piercing Mobile Core

Description: After weaving the appropriate seals, the user begins to knead simultaneous but separate collections of Senjutsu and Earth chakra. The user then slams their palms to the ground and sends an incredibly dense amount of Senjutsu chakra into it. This chakra enriches a volume of earth within range in the shape of a tall thin cone. Earth chakra is then carried downwards through this cone for an incredible distance before immediately forcing the earth in a direction. This technique can be used on any surface of earth, but it always moves perpendicular to that surface.

The rising spike pierces the ground at a point but it is dull enough that one could be carried, albeit uncomfortably, to the top just by being in its way. This means that only large targets, or people held down by something that at least matches this technique's Push, would actually take damage from it. The spike rises extremely high into the air. It is so tall that being at its peak satisfies the ability of the [Village Sentinel] trait to observe topics within that country.
