A sense of satisfaction came over the Hozuki as she watched Haneru resort to water in order to defend her attack rather than ice. It seemed, despite him believing ice to be a perfect combination, that he defaulted to water when put under pressure. She tucked that satisfaction away, knowing that she'd definitely bring it up at a later time. Now, however, there was a series of icy spikes careening toward her. The sheer coverage of the spikes was rather impressive but such a technique traded quality for quantity. While the spikes moved at a decent speed with Sara's alacrity and dexterity maneuvering around them was, while not easily done, possible.
The three women vaulted atop the ice, oil pouring from her ankles until it covered the soles of her shoes. Sliding across the surface with little to no resistance the women appeared like figure skaters. Their movements were precise and elegant as they jumped from one spike to the next before sliding down until forced to do so once more. Despite this initial dealing with of Haneru's assault his attack was two-fold with the next a display of strength, only reaffirming in her mind that he was nothing but brute force.
The women rode out the spears of ice, landing on the sand with a soft squishing sound as the oil seeped into the beach. Haneru jumped above the pillars he had created and reared back a fist. Two of the woman began to converge upon the targeted one as Haneru landed with a furious blow. He had not been aiming for Sara however, smashing into the sand and kicking up a mass amount of sand. The loose sand would prove to diffuse any shockwaves from the blow, an attack she noted would have been much more effective had they been standing on solid ground.
As the loose grains filled the air, the three women each formed the same seal, now forming a triangle around Haneru's position. A sharp inhale of breath as the chakra molded in their stomachs and each moved a cupped hand to their lips. The exhale that followed released a torrent of water from their mouths, each aimed for Haneru's landing point, now using the vision-impairing veil of sand he had created against him.
