Having returned to his position on the bridge, A watched first as Mitsuru introduced herself to the genin. It was, at best, a vague introduction, and at worst a lie by omission. Still, on a technical level, it was true, and A wasn't going to police how she might seek to teach her present student. In turn, the kage's inquisitorial eyes fell to each of the genin in turn as they introduced themselves. First was Shikari with Hiroshi, then the Hozuki boy. When Taichi made the comment about Hiroshi, the Raikage raised an eyebrow, interested in exactly what might become the boy for his remark. There were some here, it seemed, that were unfamiliar with the Inuzuka. A couldn't blame them for that, though. The residency of the Inuzuka inside Kumogakure was a relatively new phenomenon, of course.
Listening to the Uchiha's answer last, he seemed the most pragmatic of the three. While they all seemed willing and open to learning from A and Mitsuru, it was Kurotama that seemed the most straightforward. A was unsure if that boded well or not, though he only hoped that the young Uchiha might not be too disappointed knowing that he was not on the Raikage's team. If there was even a chance that he might be, A was sure it would be wiped away quickly enough. He didn't much expect Mitsuru to take it easy on her own team of genin.
"Team Cloud consists of Taichi and Shikari, as well as Hiroshi, whom I will teach. Kurotama will be on Team Heaven, along with another Uchiha, under Kazan-san's leadership." His explanation, in turn, was equally straightforward, before he moved to address Shikari's questioning about the situation and the size of the teams. "The graduating class was small this year, and three teams of two were organized for the time being. The third member of Team Heaven is currently in Konoha. To that end, we've decided to train the three of you together for the time being."
The Raikage went quiet for a moment as he shifted his position on the bridge, moving his weight form one foot to the other. "To start with, tell us why you want to become a ninja. If either of us," he paused, glancing at Mitsuru to indicate her as the other authority on the matter, "are displeased with your answer, you'll be immediately returned to the Academy. Any questions?"
