Neji always loved this place, it provided him with such incredible sights on both sides of the narrow ridge. And the top? Wide enough for comfortable sparring and jutsu training in the high altitude. It was a gorgeous location, aesthetically and functionally. The rain was unexpected, though, but maybe he could use that? Who's to say.
Maybe the three at the crest of the spine? As he approached, Neji continued to size up what were certainly his new students. He didn't say much as he walked up; nothing, actually, unless you count a murmured "Hh" as a hello.
Slouched and stumbling slightly with his soaked shirt and hair clinging to his body, Neji walked passed them with a drained and malaised look as he took a seat on a nearby rock. He twisted his back and stretched for a good long bit- too long, in fact- before leaning to one side with both palms outstretched. Notably, due to the whole sitting down thing, the ground wasn't quite within reach. Their new sensei tumbled to the mud and, while he caught himself with both palms, his pants and much of his shirt were now a muddied mess.
"Eeyup, s'bout right,"
Neji started with a grunt as a square portion of earth was raised to an angle, pivoting from near his hands' landings to a sort of small earthen leanto that would fit him and him alone underneath. At least he was out of the rain.
Raising his eyes to observe Hiroshi, Miyami and Momoka, a crack of lightning with an immediate clap of thunder startled Neji once more. Reeling his head back awkwardly, he blinked passive aggressively, as if the universe itself was fucking with him on purpose. "Uhh, a'right, introductions, yeah? Names 'n shit."
As he spoke, he raised one muddy hand and flailed it ambiguously towards the lot of them. He didn't really care which went first, just that someone did. "Oh, uh... please!"
His eyes, no matter who was speaking, locked onto Momoka.
Neji smirked. This was his favorite part.
