The sun was just showing itself over the horizon, casting a golden light over everything in sight. There were rice fields to either side of the road, the workers up with the sun to make the more of their harvest. Shouri waited on the side of the dirt road. He was dressed in his regular attire, black pants, and black boots as well as his blue and black vest over top of a fishnet shirt. His headband secured around his forehead proudly displaying the Kemurigakure village symbol. Some shinobi liked to bear their old hidden villages symbol, Shouri, on the other hand, had made it his goal to see peace between the two nations and to wear the symbol is almost proof of his goal was accomplished. As nearly always, he had his two katanas handing from his waist each sheathed in black leather. He sat on top of a large boulder that he found on the side of the road, assuming the height would help his students spot him faster. He had a few other possessions spread out across the rock. He had a topographical map of the nearby area and a canteen of water, as well as a pencil he was using to make marks on the map. He had drawn on the location of the bandit camp and possible attack locations.

The Jonin finished his mental calculations and began to roll the map up. With his legs folded, he waited atop the rock for his students. Shouri slid the map into the inside pocket of his vest. He uncapped his canteen and put it to his lips, gulping back the liquid refreshment. Once he was satisfied he pulled back, releasing a deep sigh of relief. He wondered who would arrive first between the two. The sun crept higher and higher into the sky each moment. The mission would probably be something more easily accomplished at night, which is why Shouri wanted to take the Genin in the morning. A whole camp of bandits, alert and ready to take on the day of thievery. As an afterthought Shouri began to hope the bandits were morning people, how disappointing it would be to find a bunch of oversleeping criminal scum.

Having slept in past the time of the meeting Hotaru hurriedly ran through the village though, in reality, his speed was closer to an adult walking pace. I hope they didn't leave without me!! Worried that he'd messed up his first opportunity to leave the village on official shinobi business his eyes began to water, his right hand quickly brushed them away in fear that Nagi would make fun of him. That's if the lazy chump even decides to show up! The perverted shinobi hadn't shown up for the sparring session, so the state of his team seemed to be in flux. While he very much wasn't partial to Nagi he had just started to get along with him before the training session had begun, so perhaps he was too hard on the guy.

Finally arriving at the gates he saw that only his sensei was there, a wave of relief washed over him as he got all the confirmation he needed that the mission was still a-go. "Hey senseiiiiii!" Waving his arms enthusiastically he came hobbling over, panting due to his frail body. "Am I really the first one to arrive?"

All morning Hotaru had been buzzing about with excitement, putting on quite the show for his busy parents. He’d even taken to taking some hurriedly scribbled notes on some puppet designs to look into once he’ gotten back. Only having two his own puppet limbs could hardly be relied on as his main arsenal, realizing if they took any damage he was quite poorly equipped to deal with anything up close. The rough plans he had was to make a large puppet that could help keep him well defended up close, something in the general form of a large suit of armor. Rubbing the palms of his hands together he jumped up and down a little, unable to contain his excitement.

Taro had been waiting for news on the mission and when he finally heard what was the mission was he wasn't sure what to think at first. He then left for the meeting spot hoping that Hotaru and Shouri would already be there and they could just head straight for the mission as soon as he got there. Taro coulnd't help but feel excited at the thought of the chance to fight one of these guys, maybe even to the death. As he's approaching the meeting spot he saw Hotaru running up to Shouri waving his arms, it made Taro laugh slightly thinking of what he could possibly be saying. He then caught up to the two of them and looked at both of them for a moment." I'm glad you beat me here... now we can get going, i didn't want to wait long. Taro then started to think of how long this journey would be and how well they would get along for this amount of time.

Some time had passed since Shouri first arrived. It was fortunate for Shouri that he was in no rush, it was past the time for the meeting and neither Genin had arrived yet. The Jonin tried to pay little attention to it but he surely noticed that they were late. He didn't care too much about things like punctuality. If his memory served him correctly he had failed to arrive at all during the first meeting he was supposed to have with his students. Maybe that had something to do with Nagi, his third student, and why he hadn't shown up to their last practice. He didn't seem to plan on showing up for the mission either it seemed. Hotaru showed himself first and made his way over to the Jonin in an attempted hurry, wondering if he truly was the first to arrive. The Jonin could tell he had made an effort to get here quickly. He raised his hand in a wave, in response to his greeting. "Who knows, last time Taro was here before me. Didn't know it 'til you found him though." the Jonin would say lazily, stretching his arms behind his head before standing up on the rock formation. Coming out of the gates then was Taro, making his way over in slow long strides. When he got over to the two of them, he quickly started to express that he was in a hurry. All of a sudden the shy boy from the training exercise had turned into an eager young shinobi. It struck Shouri as strange though, if he wanted to go so badly why would he show up late? He had one student who seemed to be accidentally late who hurried to make up for it, and the other who seemed to be late by a calculated effort to reduce the amount of time he spent waiting around. They seemed to have a lack of discipline and a problem with patience, respectively.

"Well, I wouldn't want to keep you waiting then." He said with a touch of sarcasm, wondering if the boy knew how he had waited here, planning the mission. It was not that long in truth, but it was enough to spark a response in the young Jonin. After giving a moment for the statement to set in, Shouri spoke again. "The camp isn't too far from here. A little up the road is where we head into the wood. Once we're close we will go over the 'plan' and I'll show you a map of the area." The Jonin would provide a short break after his explanation for any questions the two of them had, then he would hop off the rock and begin walking away from the village on the road. Assuming the Genin would follow him he walked for nearly 10 minutes before turning towards the side of the road. "Here it is. Time to pick up the pace." With that, the Jonin took off, jumping to and from tree branches and rocks where he could. He stayed off the ground as much as possible and made his way towards the bandits camp.

(OCC: Hey-o! Sorry I missed the training topic. I would love to join the mission as a part of the team if that's okay with you guys!)

As Nagi scoured the village looking for Hotaru and Shouri, he could hear the loud shrill sounds that usually came out of the young puppet user's mouth. As Nagi approached the clearing, he witnessed another boy that he didn't recognize along with Shouri. The way they had gathered made it look like they were preparing to do some sort of team activity. Although he had missed out on the training session or whatever it was Shouri asked them to do last time, Nagi was interested in joining to see what kind of misadventures could arise. Before the group moved to leave the area, Nagi would walk towards them with his hands in the air waving to his sensei frantically.

"Shouri! How could you forget about me? I'm hurt!" A look of anguish appeared on Nagi's face that quickly turned into a smile.

"Just Kidding!" he said as he stopped his arms. "I know I'm a little late. Could I join in whatever it is our team is doing?"

The screwy genin would turn his head over to the unknown genin and salute with a serious look on his face. "Greetings fellow teammate. My name is Nagi Kumada." Without waiting for a response, Nagi would turn to his sensei and ask; "So what are we doing here? This some sort of mission or something?"

OOC: Friendly reminder; the mission requires 300+ words per post. Which I totally forgot and had to beef up my first post :3

Almost as soon as Hotaru opened his mouth he heard Taro behind him, glad to know that they could get on with the mission so quickly. Crouching down he leapt into the air in triumph, only to have Nagi come right into his field of vision and sour the look on his jubilant face. Returning to the ground the frail boy lost his footing and stumbled, his cheeks flushing a deep red in anger and embarrassment. “Oh nooooow you show up!” While the young boy was undoubtedly annoyed he was also glad to have a full team now, it felt so much more official than before. “I guess I wouldn’t mind too much, I’ll just show you up even more!!” The hot-headed Genin shouted his opinion on the matter, knowing that the decision was ultimately up to Shouri.

Burying his fists in his armpits he pouted at the stalling mission that they were just about to set off on. This was supposed to be his first mission! Full of glory and kicking ass and his new goal of showing Nagi up. Hotaru was feeling pretty darn confident after the last training exercise, even though he and Taro lost it hadn’t felt like a loss with all he’d learned. The caveat of this mission was they weren’t allowed to kill any of the bandits, which wasn’t exactly difficult for Hotaru as he didn’t quite have the disposition for murder quite yet. At least as far as he knew. Luckily he had plenty of tools at his disposal that worked in favor of this limitation, be that clones made of chakra or the spools of wire within his puppet limbs. I need to make to stand out on this mission! Even if I graduated recently I could probably qualify for the Chunnin exams if I really pull out all the stops in front of sensei.

Taro had a look of confusion and frustration on his face as he saw this strange Genin approaching them as they are about to leave for the mission. As the Genin started taking to Shouri and Hotaru it became clear that he was a part of their team, but that didn’t make Taro feel any better about it. He then looked over at the new Genin for a moment ignoring his introduction, he then walked over and leaned against a nearby tree. Taro then looked at Shouri "for the record, I don't like it but I'll deal with it."He then heard Hotaru talking about showing up the new Genin and that made a grin appear on Taro’s face. Also hearing Hotaru mention the Chunnin exams got him even more eager to get this mission going. Taro has never trained or done anything with a group this size and that somewhat bothered him as he doesn’t like surprises. He was wondering exactly what Shouri’s reaction would be with this new arrival even though he thought that the laid-back Jonin wouldn’t care that much. Taro then took a slow walk over to the new Genin and removed his hood and began looking intensely at him. “you missed the training… so try to not get yourself killed. More importantly, Hotaru and I know what each other are capable of so don’t get in our way or slow us down.” He then put his hood back over his head and walked back to the tree he was leaning on hoping that they could leave soon. Taro then thought that what he said may have been a little harsh but he didn’t think that the Genin would take it personally or get offended. He was also glad to see that Hotaru was eager to get the mission going.

Just as the Jonin was about to head out for the mission, an unexpected surprise approached them. Nagi had finally caught up with the team and was approaching behind Taro and Hotaru. The boy had his hands in the air waving to get Shouri's attention. He feigned some emotional pain about the team starting without him, though before Shouri worked up a reply the boy exposed his true intention. He stopped waving his arms at the same time he told them it was a joke, then politely asked if he could join in on what the team was doing. Shouri weighed the decision for a moment before deciding the extra paperwork would be worth it.
"Good to see you Nagi. I don't see why we couldn't take you with us." he replied. Moments after Hotaru began to complain out loud about Nagi, expressing discontent with him for missing the training session earlier. While Hotaru was talking to Nagi, Shouri noticed that Taro had distanced himself from the group and was leaning against a nearby tree. He told Shouri he would deal with the third member of the team, although he seemed to have a problem with it. Shouri nodded in acknowledgment though he wasn't sure what to say. When Hotaru was finished, Nagi walked over to Taro and introduced himself with an uptight look and a salute? The Jonin scratched his head in slight confusion, though he rationalized that it didn't really matter either way. When Nagi started asking him about the mission he had something else to think about.
"Actually yes, we are just about to set off for our mission. There is a bandit camp nearby, it's been causing the locals some trouble and it's our job to take them out. There's no reason to worry, these kids are pretty new to this stuff. The mission is to simply capture all the bandits and put an end to their mischief." Shouri would briefly explain, hoping to get the mission moving as well. Yet another bump in the road came along as Taro made a slow and deliberate approach toward Nagi. Once the large and physically imposing Genin was standing in front of Nagi he removed his hood and stared him down. Shouri noticed some sort of marking under the Genin's left eye. It appeared to be a pattern of an X with lines after it. Shouri wondered if that was why the large boy always seemed like he was trying to go undetected as if that was possible for a kid that looked like that. Taro made it clear to Nagi that he was skeptical of his skills and reminded him that the other two already had some experience together.
Shouri simply waited until the two had finished, if Nagi had anything to say that is. He would only step in if things began to get heated. He looked up at the sun and noticed it was beginning to make it's way into the sky. At least the bandits will have no excuse to still be sleeping. Shouri thought to himself, eliminating a problem he had imagined while he planned the mission. Once the confrontation seemed to be over Shouri would attempt to rally the group together to leave. "It's time to get moving. We've wasted enough time, wouldn't you agree?" Shouri said with a look over to Hotaru, who he knew would surely be sick of waiting after this long. Hopefully with his students behind him, Shouri began to make his way toward the bandit camp. This time he would head directly into the treeline, taking a diagonal route straight towards the camp. The Jonin would continue moving through the trees in traditional shinobi fashion, branch to branch until a plume of smoke was visible in the distance. The destination was now in sight and he felt more comfortable stopping briefly to strategize. He would raise his right hand in the air in a fist with his arm bent at a 90-degree angle, signaling the Genin behind him to stop. He fell purposely to the forest floor when he did this, waiting at the base of a large tree for the squad to regroup.

There was a certain tone in the hooded boy's words that resonated within Nagi's ears as he scolded him for being late and missing the training. They were words of aggression that were seemingly pointed towards Nagi, but he could tell they were more realistically defensive towards himself. With such a large frame, Nagi suspected the boy to have been picked on when he was younger. Perhaps he put up the tough exterior to stop the sadness? Nagi responded to the boy's warning with a smile and blank eyes, simply stating; "Don't worry! I have never died and I don't intend to any time soon!"

Nagi would then put a hand on his chin and look the hooded figure up and down to visibly size him up before continuing his statement. "Besides! you look so dependable! I'm sure you'll be able to protect me if I need it right?" The screwy boy would then turn to his miniature crippled friend. "Hotaru how does this guy hold up in a fight? He interesting or what?"

After hearing the answer, Nagi would then nonchalantly follow his sensei as they began to take off on their mission. Trees flew by as they pounced from branch to branch; looking for bandits as they explored. Apparently they were to subdue the bandits without killing or seriously injuring any of them. Nagi wondered if they meant physical or emotional pain... If they weren't ninja then they couldn't really do too much damage and weren't much of a threat. But more importantly, they probably wouldn't know how to break themselves out of genjutsu. Perhaps Nagi would have some fun with this mission after all!

Nagi would look to his teammates as they jumped through the woods and smile at the potential to seeing them all in action as well. Finally a plume of smoke appeared before them and Nagi would stop at a branch just outside the camp. He would wait for his sensei's order to strike, a smile creeping on the boy's face as he anticipated the fight to come.

Varying opinions aside it seemed Nagi would be joining their mission, oddly claiming that he had never died in his own strange fashion. Next, he asked Hotaru how Taro was in combat, to which he would reply first with a folding of the arms and nod. “Oh ya, Taro’s really tough. He can use these awesome purple crystals! AND! He’s not a pervert. So that’s a plus.” Unfolding his arms he followed Shouri, who seemed eager to get the mission really started. Hotaru rarely ever left the village, even the outing the previous day for their training exercise was a totally new place to him and he excitedly wondered what sort of exotic destination awaited them. His mind was definitely building it up more and he would very likely be let down with the location, not being too far out from where they were right outside the gates.

“Oi, sensei!!! What sort of exotic place is it we’re going to, huh?! Is it in some sort of thick jungle? Or-or-or, maybe on top of a giant stone spire like where we trained the other day!!” Along with his lack of travelling experience, the young boy was a bit geographically challenged, totally oblivious as to what sort of lands were within his own home country.

Clenching his puppet hand the wood lightly squeaked, slightly anxious for his first real dosage of combat that wasn’t an official spar. While in the academy and even with his teammates Hotaru utilized a power level of Ninjutsu, and even though the enemies for this mission was a gang of largely untrained bandits they well might be coming at them with the intent to kill. He wouldn’t be able to rely as heavily on his explosion chakra, being far too lethal for this sort of objective. What he really needed was an actual puppet, one that was focused on restraint and wasn’t responsible for literally keeping him on his feet.

Taro was not taking the sarcasm from the new Genin too well as they were jumping from tree to tree making their way to the bandit camp. He caught up to Nagi so he could be heard clearly, "No I'm not a babysitter, if you cant protect yourself then you shouldn't be here."Taro had become angry with the Genin, then deciding to move forward with Hotaru and Shouri he wanted to get more information on Nagi. “ so what’s with this guy? Is he always like this or am I just getting annoyed too easily?” as they are jumping through the forest Taro is trying to think of a possible faster way to get to the camp. After thinking about it for a while longer he finally thought of a way but it would involve using a jutsu he wasn’t quite sure he mastered yet but he wanted to get there faster and at the same time show the team what he could do."Hey, guys, you wanna see something?"Taro then performed a set of hand signs and touched a set of trees, turning them into crystal dragons. He then mounted the dragon commanding them to catch up with the team so they could all have a easier travel to the camp. Taro was so eager to hear what the team had to say, would they not like it? Would they think it was useful? But his attention quickly turned back to the mission as he wanted to see how it was going to go. He also wanted to use more of his powerful jutsu in this mission but he knows that it may not be necessary but he wants to try new things. "Shouri about how much further is this place? I want to show you some new stuff I just learned.”

Shouri held his position as the three Genin quickly caught up. Hotaru began questioning him about the geography of the location they would be fighting in, as well as Taro about how far they were. While Shouri wished to be able to give Hotaru a much more fantastical answer, he simply pointed toward the smoke rising above the treeline. He attempted to answer both Genin at once. "We are basically here. That looks like the camp's main fire." He then reached into his bag and pulled forth a rolled up piece of paper. When he spread it across the ground it would be revealed that it was a map of the nearby area. The map displayed geographical information as well as marked spots where the bandit camp was, the route of patrolling guards, and even common raiding spots for the bandits. Shouri was unsure if they would know what each marking means, so as a courtesy for their first mission together he would take some time to explain the map to them.
That would shortly be done with and then Shouri would have the time to talk about the plan. Which he had not come up with. "Now if I'm being honest, I don't really have a plan. There are a few dozen of them, but these bandits aren't very well organized or very powerful. So in light of that, I thought it would be a good time to let the three of you handle strategizing. Or lack of it. We could really just wing it." Shouri said with a chuckle. Despite his laugh, the Jonin was more than serious. He was leaving the methods of execution up to his Genin. The idea behind this was to give the Genin a chance to succeed or fail on their own. How could they become great shinobi if they never learn to make decisions like one? It was then that Taro began transforming trees around them. With a single touch, the wood began to harden and become more transparent. It made cracking noises as it expanded and curled into a sharp, jagged dragon. He proceeded to form multiples of this dragon before mounting one of his choosing. There were enough for each member of the team to mount a crystal beast, Shouri didn't mind the idea of not having to walk any further. "Well that is going to be useful. Any other ideas?" Shouri said to his team in an attempt to provoke thought.

As the squad of ninja bounced from tree branch to tree branch, the larger hooded member of their team made it part of their mission to approach Nagi and give in to the boy's taunt. Of course the genin would only respond with an innocent smile and a nod. He didn't actually mind his new teammate at all, but it was just so much fun seeing which buttons to push and which to stay away from. Trees around the group seemed to alter from their normal bark into some form of crystal. They would quickly transform their shape into that of a dragon that the hooded shinobi would ride on towards the camp. They're sensei faced them and let them know there wasn't much of a plan. It seemed to be a sort of test for the three of them to do together.

Perhaps this was to see what they could do in a potential life or death scenario? Though a group of chakra-less bandits didn't seem very threatening...

Nagi would nod towards his sensei and his teammates before agreeing with one of his sensei's statements. "Lack of strategy huh? That does sound like a good test! If we can do this without planning then that means we're pretty smart huh?" With a smile wider than he usually gave, Nagi would flip backwards off the branch and put his two hands together to form a handseal.

The genin imagined what his entire body looked like from an outside perspective alongside what it felt like to be a soul trapped inside said skin suit. In order to create a clone of oneself, Nagi had heard it was appropriate to get a good mental image first. As he landed his flip at the front of the camp, a poof of smoke appeared next to him as his shadow clone was successfully created. The two Nagis would then walk forward into the bandit's lair; putting their hands above their eyes as if they were looking for something. The original Nagi would speak to his clone;

"Nagi have you seen any bandits? I thought they would be here."

"No I haven't seen any Nagi. These plebians in front of us couldn't surely be such vicious monsters."

"Yes, yes. They look far too sophisticated."

Several men and women would begin to get up and mutter to each other about the appearance of the boys. The bandits looked confused, but began to wear a murderous look on their faces. While Nagi distracted them with his little show, perhaps his team would be able to make a surprise attack.

As little as Hotaru humored Nagi it seemed their third teammate had even less patience for his nonsensical ways. “Hoho, no this is about as tame as it gets with him. Trust me, you’re not alone. Though we can’t exactly go against the kage’s wishes just cause we don’t like ‘em, eh?” Giving a little shrug he continued on and before long they had reached the bandit camp, their sensei revealing there wasn’t much of a plan at all in place and asked for suggestions. Taro created a set of crystalline dragons out of a couple trees, an impressive feat that the boy marveled at before one of their teammates went and did something drastic. Before anyone else could pipe up Nagi just straight up walked into the camp, ripping on the bandits and getting their undivided attention. While it was a bold move, he really did succeed in distracting them, allowing the rest of the team to flank them unexpectedly and hopefully quell this whole situation before it turned into a full-blown fight.

Giving a slightly annoyed sigh at Nagi’s lack of teamwork Hotaru snuck around the encampment, before leaving entirely he formed a single seal and created a clone in his place. His clone relayed the message to his other teammates so they weren’t entirely lost with what was going on. “I’ll sneak around the back and try to pincer them the wires I have in me, should be able to bind a couple up and cause enough of a diversion for you two to come in and sweep things up. Taro, can those things fly? If so an aerial approach might help us really surround them and give them no recourse but to engage us or give up.”

The real Hotaru got to the back of the camp, using the terrain to his advantage and staying hidden. Creeping up into the camp he looked over to his clone, giving him a wave and engaging with his puppet hand. The small wooden puppet zipped through the space with impeccable speed and precision, wrapping around two of the bandits and pulling them back with surprised screams. As soon some of the bandits turned around and away from Nagi to see what had happened the clone released his own puppet hand and grabbed two more, now having four bandits wrapped up in his wires and unable to free themselves.

Taro wasn't sure how good of an idea it was to go in without a plan what so ever but it wasn't his choice to make. After seeing both of the both of the other Genin make their shadow clones Taro knew that the bandits were going to be distracted for awhile and he knew that his clone jutsu would take a little longer to create than his teammates shadow clones. So as Taro prepared his justsu he formed a set of hand seals and formed a crystal mirror as part of his jutsu. He knew that this would take some time so he hoped that the shadow clones could keep the bandits at bay long enough. He then formed the final set of seals in front of the mirror as two crystal clones emerged from the mirror. As he turned his attention back to the bandits he saw that Hotaru already had four of the bandits captured. Taro then send his clones in behind Hotaru so they could provide backup. He then looked a Shouri "so are you sure we can't use deadly force? it would be kinda fun. Waiting to see what the older Jonin would say Taro knew that they probably couldn't kill no matter what but he still wanted to ask. Also noticing that Nagi had very little sense of teamwork also made Taro more annoyed than he originally was. Taro then jumped into the battle as he managed to sneak up behind one of the bandits who was busy watching his friend get taken down by Hotaru's shadow clone. Once he was close enough to the bandit he gave the bandit a hard blow to the back of his neck making him go unconscious. Taro then had a slight moment of happiness as he observed the combat going on around him.

(Damn my post got deleted so I'm about to rush this shit. Sorry in advance.)

The Genin each began to take action after Shouri had given them the go-ahead. Nagi was first to jump into action, briefly mentioning that having no plan would prove higher skill. Shouri smiled at this, he had an appreciation for that train of thought. He also had appreciation for the entertainment that was sure to come. As a Jonin on a C-rank mission, he was on the lookout for some entertainment. He began to think he would have more than he bargained for when he watched Nagi stroll into the camp with his freshly created shadow clone. Hotaru began to scramble to put together a plan, making a clone and having him call it out to the remaining team members while he flanked the back of the camp. Taro followed suit and made a set of clones, although his summoning process was different and took more time. His two clones followed the original Hotaru while the original Taro stayed momentarily to make a comment to the sensei. Once Hotaru's clone had sneaked to the edge of the camp Taro asked a strange question. When Shouri heard a boy, no older than 16, say that murder would be fun he was confused more than anything. "No, We definitely can't. Even if we were Hunter-Nin, they aren't shinobi, where's the sport in that?" Shouri tried to reason with the boy. He didn't want to be too harsh on him or criticize him, though that surely would be addressed later. I like this one, Shouri. The Jonin could hear the cold female voice echo in his head. Kokuo. At least we can agree on something. Shouri thought in return, with a hint of mental sarcasm. He knew the reasons they liked the boy was completely different, but he knew the sarcasm was enough to silence the beast. She wasn't used to how humans interacted with each other, it was so different than their interactions with the Bijuu.

After Taro's strange question he took off into the camp, though Shouri didn't exactly trust him to be non-lethal after such a statement. Shouri followed quietly, keeping his distance from the boy yet keeping a watch over his back. Anyone who attempted to attack Taro could easily be dealt with. Shouri made his way to the rooftop of one of the primitive structures they had built from scrap, and from there he could see the Genin's plan coming to fruition. Hotaru and his clone were expertly weaving wire between bandits, basically sewing the men into bondage. Taro had decided to follow orders and used his hand to chop the neck of a suspicious bandit. So far, Nagi had kept the attention of the bandit's he addressed while the rest of the team started to pick off enemies from the edge of the camp. The Jonin began forming hand seals, he didn't know when the battle would break out but he knew there were still plenty of bandits left. Men and women would be rushing out of their huts to see what the commotion was if the assault began to get loud. Whether that happened because one of the stealth team's were caught, or because the bandits get sick of Nagi's shit-talking, Shouri would be ready to lay down an intense smoke screen. If the condition was met then Shouri would unleash his chakra from his mouth, expelling a wide blanket of ash over the middle of the camp. He would make sure the dimensions of the smoke screen only covered the middle of the camp and not the outskirts where his students resided. The ash would burn and irritate the skin of bandits inside, also cause coughing and choking of anyone who inhaled the thick grey atmosphere. Shouri would then watch the inside of the cloud with his Sharingan, able to see if any unintended target was hit by the wide radius of the jutsu.

His team had sprung into action against the distracted camp. All according to plan. Nagi was able to observe his little teammate's sneaky abductions using his false limbs and a smile grew across his face. What an interesting use of a prosthetic... I wonder what else he can do with it besides use it as a grappling hook? To his right he could see clones of the larger of his teammates who had taken out a bandit. Using the distraction that Hotaru and Nagi had provided, he had appeared to deliver a finishing blow. It seemed that although Taro didn't like him, they had some similarities in their fighting styles.

The looks of bewilderment finally wiped off the faces of the group of enemies in front of Nagi; finally realizing they were being attacked by ninja. Several of the group picked up weapons ranging from knives to swords or bows and began to target Nagi. A large amount of smoke then appeared in the middle of the camp and Nagi could see the back of their sensei. Looks like they were all in combat now. Not having to worry about another group ambushing him, the clone Nagi would put his hand to his face and begin to laugh loud and maniacally. This was done particularly obnoxiously so that if any of the bandits in front of him were looking at his teammates, they would shift their attention to him. With their eyes all on him, the original Nagi would extend his right arm to the group and with an innocent smile speak a single word.

"Strip."

The genin's genjutsu would affect anyone, friend or foe who had witnessed him extend his arm out. The affected parties' clothes would appear to be blown off in an unstoppable gust of wind; leaving not an artcile behind. They would still have their weapons, but be utterly naked in front of their enemies. At least in their minds that is. Anyone not under the technique would see the bandits scramble uncomfortably as they freaked out to the sudden loss of skin protection. Although it wasn't too important for combat; amateurs tended to feel particularly vulnerable without their clothing.

After successfully ensnaring four of the bandits in two pairs the clone of Hotaru broke the wire connected to his puppet hand and connected a chakra thread to his leg, winding up a few feet before kicking the living shit out of he’d snared. The pair of knocked out bandits soared through the air and promptly landed next to the real Hotaru and clones of Taro, taking his clone’s wire and wrapping the four up together in one group. Rewinding his own wire back into his arm was ready to capture more, though this time he wouldn’t likely be able to wrangle up as many.

For a brief moment it seemed that the battle was going well, then it looked like Nagi was about to get jumped by a dozen or so armed combatants. With the same level of cockiness that’d, he’d seen the teenager hold onto he said just one word, with all the commotion going on he could hardly even hear what it was. Suddenly the majority of the bandits started frantically patting themselves down, why this was escaped the simple genin. All he needed to know was that they were distracted, that was enough to draw his bow and realize that he had been affected by the Genjutsu as well. He saw his bow alright, but beneath his quiver was his naked-ass self, dropping the bow in disbelief. Frantically patting himself before putting it together that he was doing the exact same move as the bandits around them. Not piecing it together quite all the way he deduced that the lewd jutsu must be from Nagi somehow, some way. “Dammit, it Nagi!!!” What he did not’ put together was that it was simply a Genjutsu, just picking his bow up and nocking an arrow with a blush on his face. “You mother fucker!” Crying out he released an arrow at one of the still-bumbling banditos, piercing their leg and watching them fall to the ground. “Technically not dead! You saw that.” Calling the non-fatal shot he nocked another and prepared for a naked last stand, not willing to give up the parameters of the mission even in his blinded-rage.

After Taro had knocked out one of the bandits he noticed that a majority of the bandits hand began panicking and it seems that they had completely forgot about the ninja. Trying to figure out what was going on Taro started observing the area, as he looked over in Nagi's direction he saw him with a look of pure amusement and he knew right then that whatever was going on with the bandits was Nagi's doing. "What hell is that Nagi?? He then saw Hotaru with a confused look on his face but he quickly gathered himself as he yelled at Nagi. Taro knew that he couldn't be worried about what was going on with them as they are still severely outnumbered. He then sent the crystal dragons he made into the crowd of confused bandits. As the dragons rushed over to the bandits Taro had them move quickly along the ground swiping the bandits legs out from underneath them, probably breaking at least a few of their legs. He then walked over to the bandits as they are in obvious pain he proceeded to pick them up one by one and throw them over with the bandits that Hotaru had dealt with earlier. Not wanting any of the bandits to get away Taro performed a set of hand seals as he created crystal needles making sure not to kill the bandits he carefully trapped the bandits, pinning them to the ground to ensure they would not be able to move. He hadn't seen Shouri since earlier and that seemed odd to him as Shouri didn't seem like the type of person to just disappear but he knew that whatever he was doing it was going to help the team. After almost forgetting about his crystal clones Taro gave them the order to knock out as many of the bandits as they could.

From his vantage point on top of the building, Shouri could see all the events of the mission unfolding. He took in the details of his students' fighting styles though Nagi, in particular, had abilities that stood out at the moment. Luckily the Sharingan allowed the Jonin to see straight through the low-level, yet nonetheless effective, Genjutsu. Of course, the bandits with no control over chakra had no chance of the same fate. Each of the bandits that had surrounded Nagi with their weapons raised was now helplessly embarrassed. They scrambled to find clothes that were still where they belonged and blushed when they could not find them. Shouri cracked a wide smile. The mix of creativity and humor in the jutsu was a thing of wonder. Shouri admired the Genin for the creation of such a jutsu, for if it were public knowledge the Jonin surely would have obtained it in his younger years.
Shouri craned his neck when he heard all the commotion on the other side of the camp. After taking a moment to listen to the string of curses, Shouri deduced it was Hotaru, in the middle of a sort of temper tantrum it appeared. The Jonin dashed to the edge of the roof, vaulting to a better view of his new point of interest. He landed atop another makeshift building. He was near the center of the camp now, though he could see Hotaru through the clearing ash. Shouri could tell by his flow of chakra that he had been affected by Nagi's Genjutsu. He bit his lip to stifle his laugh. He didn't want to give away his position, as well as alert Hotaru to the humor of the situation. Shorui was sure he wouldn't find it as funny, until after he realized it was Genjutsu at least. Shortly after, Hotaru drew his bow and began to nock an arrow. Shouri wondered if it would be aimed at the Genjutsu caster, a desperate attempt to redeem his pride after being stripped. Instead, it was the steely resolve of the smallest member of the team. He released the arrow and it flew into the leg of a bandit, neutralizing him. He then planted his feet and prepared to fight, clothes or no clothes.
Meanwhile, Taro was causing chaos among the bandits. He used his massive crystal dragons, each capable of destroying a building easily, to swipe out the legs of the unsuspecting criminals. Shouri watched as they tried to flee or beg, though Taro's dragons were merciless. The sound of broken bones and screams alerted Shouri to the damage, though he didn't see the extent until he made his way across the rooftops to see the heaps of bandits being tossed into the pile. Now there was a pile, rather than just the few bandits Hotaru had tied up. Shouri inspected with his Sharingan, noticing minuscule amounts of chakra in each of them. Well nobody's dead. Shouri thought. A battle like this can't be expected to go without injuries. He looked around at the camp as Taro's clones began to chase down the remaining bandits that he could find. Shouri blinked hard, when he opened his eyes again, deep blue replaced the red with black swirls traditional to the Uchiha clan. The battle was nearing it's end.

It had seemed that his technique had hit at least one of his teammates... Oops. Nothing to be done about that now! The bandits that had been stripped mentally had reacted as the genin had planned and were running around looking for their clothing. The crystalline dragon that Taro had created seemed to knock them off their feet, and the genin had finished the combo by locking them in a cage of spikes. Nagi would wave over to his teammates. "Sorry about your clothes!" he would shout to them. While he was shouting at his teammates, there were a couple of bandits who; although they thought they were naked, realized that Nagi wasn't actually attacking them. One of the bandits stabbed into Nagi's clone with his blade and it disappeared in a poof of smoke. The original would yell into the air with a sense of horror;

"No!!! Brother!!!"

Shocked by the exclamation, the bandit who had just attack took a step backwards. With that second of hesitation, Nagi dashed towards the man; activating his palm's seals and pulling out a foot long screw. With a swift movement and an incredible twisted smile, Nagi would shove the screw into the bandit's leg while making eye contact with him. As blood began oozing out of the wound and the bandit fell, Nagi's face would revert to one of friendliness and welcoming. With a wave of his hand, Nagi would shout at the remaining bandits to try and get their attention.

"Hey bandits! If you don't want to end up screwed like your friend over here. Then surrender!" Nagi would point both hands to the man on the ground who was squeeling in pain and holding his leg. As the bandits looked at the twisted genin, Nagi would put up his palm and summon another screw of 2 feet and hold it into the air.

"I can make..." Nagi would then go through the effort of counting while mouthing the number of bandits. "Plenty of screws to go around! Now what do you say?"

The battle was unfolding nicely, nicely for everyone who still had their clothes on at least! With a bright red face Hotaru continued to release arrow after arrow, his clone soon mimicking the desperate original and felled numerous bandits with their speedy hands. All aimed at the legs of course, perhaps an arm here or there but they were alive alright! Shaking his head the boy looked down to see the same naked frame, entirely unsure of how to get his clothes back. If only he hadn’t slept through pretty much every Genjutsu class in the academy he would probably know to simply use the Genjutsu Kai. But not Hotaru, simple, simple Hotaru. In his rage he yelled out to Nagi again, sure that he had literally blown his clothes off as the Genjutsu had shown him. “Hey! How the hell do I get my clothes back?! You better have brought some extra if you were planning on using that!” His voice cracked in frustration, certainly not helping his helpless little situation.

Most of the bandits seemed to be either wounded or rounded up, the remaining few were approaching Nagi as he threatened them with some screws that he seemingly got out of thin air. Man, what’s with this guy? Making peoples clothes fly off, pulling screws out of nowhere. There was one bandit that was able to sneak up on the original Hotaru, he didn’t even need to drop his boy to fend off the weakling. With his right hand a chakra thread zipped through the air and connected with his leg, moving with far superior speed and slamming him in the gut. The bandit crumpled onto the ground, the last few bandits between him and Nagi seemed to hesitate in their final assault, having seen so many of their comrades downed so quickly. It looked like it could be a sign of surrender, though it could just as easily be a trick so he kept his bow nocked and at the ready.

As Taro finished trapping the bandits he heard a scream that sent chills down even his spine, trying to locate the source of the sound hoping that one of his teammates wasn't injured he saw that it was not one of his teammates but it was the result of Nagi shoving a screw into a bandits leg. He noticed a different look in Nai's eyes and he liked it, but that quickly went away as Nagi would go back to his usual self. "Your puns are starting to get on my nerves." Taro the turned his attention back to the bandits as 2 of them started to approach him. He performed a set of hand seals and a large crystal scythe appeared in his right hand, " Alright now we can have some real fun." Taro the prepared himself by getting a firm grasp on the large weapon. He then sprinted at the approaching bandits he stepped to his right and swung the blunt part of the weapon at the bandits torso, it was a swing that Taro knew if he landed the bandit would not be able to get up. One of the bandits managed to get out of the way but the bandit closer to Taro got hit with the full impact. He could hear the bandits ribs break as well as seeing him spit up some blood but he was still alive. He then turned his attention back to the bandit who managed to doge the attack, the bandit was obviously angry about what he saw happen to his friend as he ran full speed at Taro. Reacting quickly Taro side stepped the rushing bandit while sticking his large scythe to the side tripping the bandit. As he started to get to his feet Taro gave the bandit a fairly hard blow to the bandits head with his scythe, forcing him to go unconscious. He did get a smile across his face when he noticed that Hotaru was still freaking out about being naked even though he was fully dressed. "Nagi! help this man out!
he's losing his damn mind."

Shouri watched as the battle grew more vicious the longer it went on. The more the bandits would resist, the more injured they would end up. Shouri could already see the pattern forming. He simply couldn't resist the opportunity to watch the Genin in action. Hotaru displayed expert marksmanship with his bow, as well as taijutsu with his puppet limbs. Meanwhile, Taro displayed the advantages of having a crystal user. Whether it was transportation, weaponry, or a makeshift prison, Taro seemed to create it from nothing. Then there was Nagi. Quite the oddball, though he was as gifted in Genjutsu as he was sarcasm. Shouri could also tell he was strategic, attempting to force a surrender from the bandits. Such a display of violence was a good demotivator. The bravest, or stupidest, of the remaining bandits made their charge. Hotaru and Taro quickly dispatched them with melee combat. As they collapsed to the floor so did the hopes of the remaining bandits. Followed quickly by their weapons, and even some of the bandits fell to the floor. Shouri dismounted from the roof, taking position near Nagi and the remaining bandits. "All right, looks like they've had enough." Shouri said with a dry smile.

The Jonin formed a single hand seal and a cloud of smoke appeared with a replica of Shouri inside of it. "Help me round them all up, would you?" Shouri requested of the clone as they each reached into their belt pouch. They retrieved lengths of metal wire and made their way to any bandit that had not been incapacitated already. Shouri made sure to tie the wire tightly and plentifully, leaving not a limb free on any of the rookies. Sure they may not have experience, but that also means they likely have not been jailed for long. The punishment they will receive when they are returned was motive enough to try to escape. Once the Jonin had finished securing the remaining bandits, he turned to the Genin wherever they might be. "Good work, everyone. After checking every last one of these guys, I can confidently say this mission was a success. Not a single fatality." Shouri gave the Genin a thumbs up, unsure of another positive gesture he could use. "It looks like our work here is done. Anyone with a remaining clone could leave him behind for guard duty. I'm sure I could use the help." The original Shouri said with a sly smile. Suddenly, the clone of Shouri turned around from tidying up the ties on a bandit. "Really?"? The clone complained. The two exchanged looks for a moment before the clone released a grunt and formed his reply."Fine. Consider it extra credit. Anyone?"

With that last matter settled, the original Shouri would begin to take his leave. He took a moment to survey the terrain and figure out the direction of the village. Once this was done, he gave short parting words to the students. "I'm going to head back now. I will report our success to the Kemurikage. Rest up, we still have plenty of preparing to do." Shouri would then seem to disappear in a puff of smoke, his fast movement concealed by a simple trick.

The fight seemed to have concluded nicely; most of the bandits having surrendered after Nagi's threat, and the rest being immobilized by Taro and Hotaru. Despite not having a set plan to follow, they had actually worked quite well together. At least, in Nagi's eyes that is. The twisted genin turned over to see what high pitched noise kept belting in his ear and found that Hotaru was still under the effects of his stripping genjutsu. A chuckle escaped from Nagi's lips as the boy asked if he had brought any extra clothes. Nagi would form a quick handseal and put his hand on Hotaru's shoulder to dispel the genjutsu; revealing to the genin that his clothes had been on him all along.

"Sorry about that Hotaru! That was just a little genjutsu used to distract the enemy. I thought that you would have been able to see through it. I'll have to be more clear when I'm using it next time."

Nagi would then walk towards his sensei who was wrapping the bandits up with wire to prevent them from running away; using a clone as a sort of manual labor. Letting them know that he would check in with the Kage, Shouri disappear from view as he left the area in a flash. He had given the option for them to leave their clones with his clone, but Nagi wasn't particularly interested in baby-sitting. He would turn to his teammates with a smile and make a hand motion of putting his left fist into his right palm.

"Alright guys! Good impromptu teamwork! Now that the mission is complete i'm gonna bounce as well. Can't wait for the next one!"

And with that Nagi would exit.
