Rules for Administrative Duties going Forward:
As there are no longer any staff positions on the site, more of the general administrative duties are being shunted to all members, in the hopes that work that is (essentially) community needs can be handled by the community at large. For the time being, all official work on this particular version of the site will cease. There is a new version of the game in the works, though is still some ways off (more will be shown later!) In the interim, however, this change is intended to promote a healthier relationship between both the ex-staff and the website, and the ex-staff and regular members.
Please thank them all for the large amount of time they have put in to keeping the day to day of this site going for a long time. It really isn't easy.
A special thanks to Austin, who has put his soul into the current project.
There will be growing pains in this process.
You must have an approved character and an active member of the community. This is denoted below.
Any member is allowed to approve:
A) Character Updates - 20
B) Technique Registrations - 25
C) Character Registration - 30
D) The “Other” Category of Registrations (Items, Summons, Puppets, Organizations) - 40
E) Non KKG/Hiden Clans - 50
As it stands now, the registration of hiden/kkg clans will be handled on an individual basis. (I believe we have most, if not all, of the canon hiden/kkg clans.)
Three or more people are able to overrule an approval and give what they’d like to see changed before the approval is allowed. If the person goes through with these changes, it is accepted. If not, the original approval is annulled. In the case of annulment, someone who is not the group of three or the original person who approved may come and approve it again, but they should be sure to look and see if they agree with the people who sought change in the technique. Three other people (not the original people involved in the dispute) can then deny it again. If this is done, the registration must see significant changes to see another vote.
If balances in techniques/Sas prove to be too much for the community to handle, these may be removed off the list of things members can approve. Please be conservative at the beginning.
Rules about boosters, etc, are still to be enforced (more vigorously now than ever.) I highly suggest you look to former staff on some things, many of them are very experienced. The goal here is to start dialogue more than anything else.
Changes to the system at large can be initiated by votes in the Suggestions & Comments section. A user can make one of these a month. They need to have both the required pieces of text they’d like to change and what they’d like to change it to or, in the case of systems, the numbers they’d like to change and what they’d like to change it to. If three other people agree with the changes a sitewide vote may be called. If the topic passes (after one week) with a 75% majority the changes go through. This is, by and large, intended to create gridlock and keep things from getting done unless there is consensus. If needed this percentage can be changed in the future.
