A momentary flinch went through Taiyō's body when he felt the force of the soft pat against his back. It was more sudden than he had expected, catching him off-guard. After the quick jolt, he allowed the tension in his bones to settle. The Hozuki heir awkwardly laughed it off, hoping Mizui didn't notice. "Haha... Ahh, it was no problem. Just make sure not to do this again, okay? I know you didn't mean to, but you probably scared the pants off of those women!" ... Actually, Taiyō, they weren't wearing pants in the first place, b-baka! Not that he was thinking of that, any rate. Truth be told, he was just glad that Tsuki wasn't over at the time. She wasn't a stranger to that bathhouse, and if Mizui had walked in on her ... Ohhh boy, that wasn't a pretty thought. Tsuki could get violent when she needed to be.
For all of Taiyō's service, Mizui offered his own set of talents as well. Supposedly, he was a fine poison craftsman. This was something that Taiyō initially blew off, being the peaceful boy that he was. "Oh, thank you, that's kind of you to offer. Maybe I'll take your offer for some of that tea sometime? That does sound refreshing." When he stopped, allowing the silence to permeate the air for a moment, the unwelcome sound of irritated complaining hit his ears from the other side of the wall.
"GAH. Where did that punk go? I swear when I find him--"
"We'll get him, Midori. We'll get him."
"WE BETTER. He deserves what's coming for peeping on us!"
Taiyō placed a finger in front of his lips, letting out a soft shush to alert Mizui to listen. Fortunately, it sounded as though they weren't aware of the escape crack that the two had used, and were merely passing by the area. "Don't thank me yet, Mizui, we aren't free until we're out of the compound!" The Hozuki heir whispered, the nervousness that had fled earlier returning as the risk of getting caught became real once again.
