The path from Amegakure to Kumogakure was going to be a long walk and that meant that both Soma and Juan had to pass threw the land of frost. Well known for being a cold and frozen land and home to Shimongakure, the walk when from the a rainy day to a cold chilling day. The weather conditions between regions are ridiculously at times; Soma had kept quiet throughout the journey along side Juan. He looked around the area as he could see the frozen river and the trees covered in thick lakes of snow and ice; Soma had always hated this place during missions but he knew this place was neutral and that almost nothing happen here. His twisted thoughts began to turn the wheel in his head as a small gain began to show in his face; he turn to look at Juan as the giant of a man was still a wonder to himself, Soma was tall 6,3 feet tall to be exact but this beast of a shinobi was 7,0 or around there and builky it was good known he had power backing him up.

"Croc we will be arriving at Shimongakure soon maybe we can have fun there as well; Amegakure was the first example why not make them next in line." Soma said looking back at the trail ahead of them. Trees began to separate from each other as they started to make different roads that separated into sections; Soma stop and look at the four directions that the path separated into he decided to take the second one to the right. After a few minutes of walking they made there way into a dense forest within the land of Frost, covered in heavy snow that made the road and the environment look like one another. Soma decided to jump into a tree and climb all the way towards the top to see how much longer they had to get towards the village, and it wasn't far.

Soma made his way back down and gesture to Juan to continue following him. What remain of the walk was a few miles at best something that could be done within minutes without interruption; "Its a matter of time Shimongakure before I take you down and then Kumo is next Hehehe" Soma said as he started to giggled outloud, he was truly a maniac. The sun was nearly visible at this point most clouds had come together to cover the sky very few spots could be seen of the sky itself and the sun; some lightrays pierce the clouds making it look dark yet bright simultaneously. Soma and Juan had finally reached Shimongakure as they stood above a hill looking down on it.

"Croc! Time to eat!" Soma said out loud as he smiled widely a devilish smile.

While he had not been the first to spread the tale as old as time, and Mr. Three knew he would not be the last, it always seemed a regrettable luxury that he was the one speaking to the oppressed masses. His voice was loud, booming; it had to be, to be heard by those in the back. His rhetoric was compelling; it had been honed through hundreds of attempts. He had been chased out of towns more than once, but today was not one of those cases, at least not by those to whom he spoke. Uji San spoke in the shadow of the wall, gathering up any who would listen. Underneath the towering hill, Mr. Three felt no cold, for his fingers had long ago grown numb. His voice was a passion and a heat that cut the winter chill, and perhaps that was why so many dozens had huddled up to listen to him speak.

"The world is yours for the taking! Seize it-- for yours is a struggle from the bottom. Life is cheap and blood flows free, death has no meaning anymore! Until it does, you have nothing to lose but your chains," he decreed from the slightly raised wooden stage upon which he spoke. He had fount it set out here and claimed it for use, perhaps it had originally been there for a play or a festival event.

It served his needs well, and he considered it a sign of good fortune that it was here, even if he didn't believe in such things. The only strength was that which a person held in their own hands. His hands moved with emphasis as he spoke, cupped his face to amplify his voice, and surged with cheers from the crowd. It was as much conducting a symphony with his body language as it was persuasion with his voice. Every word unique, each speech its own, he never rehearsed beforehand.

After a moment, however, he stopped. A premonition hit him then, and he turned away from the crowd, amidst an audible confusion, to turn and look up at the top of the hill. There was bad news on the horizon.

Onward Juan and Soma marched, like soldiers en route to a battle despite the two being so far removed from the shinobi militaristic system. The Village Hidden in the Rain was no more, and now it was on to the next target. Wanton destruction appeared to be the current intent, something Juan had no qualms about. He wanted his belly filled. What the beast did not like however was the cold. Their path had taken them from the rain-soaked but not unpleasantly humid climate of the Land of Rain to what was rapidly becoming a landscape of frost and snow. Juan dragged his feet, falling ever more behind Soma while they trekked on. The declining temperature and biting chill had slowed the Croc. He yawned deeply, bear-trap mouth wide enough to engulf the meek sun in the sky. His master, Soma, ascended a tree and seemed to scope out their surroundings. Juan blanched and ground his teeth upon being instructed to continue following. He was told a village lie not too far up ahead, just over the crest of this next hill. Shimogakure, apparently. More important to Wani than a village were the villagers. More important than the villagers, Juan thought, shivering from both the cold and anticipation, were what was inside them.

Soma cackled and with a flourish pointed out their destination. A smile brimming with sin graced the horned man's face.

"Croc! Time to eat!"

All at once the cold drained from Juan Tatsuya's bones. His body seemed to swell with blood lust, muscles ignited by white-hot fire and primeval hunger. In a flash the creature was bounding down the snow-covered hill, falling over himself in the sheer foul glee of another meal. His field of view was pinprick-small; he was making his way towards the first grouping of souls he could find and tear his way through.

With his command Juan charged ahead to attack, he followed right behind him. The race from the hill towards the gates of Shimon took approximately no time; Soma quickly attack the guards that stood in front of the gates killing them with precision aimed shurikens at there throats. There body fallen over as they gasped for air slowly dying, Soma would then make his way to the gates as they stood open not much people traffic it was empty at the gates but inside could be seen several shinobies from Shimon and civilians. He cracked his knuckles as he got ready to cause massive destruction towards this nation and all villagers alike. Soma looked to the top of the gates as he made his way up there and looked down at the court yard, people looked back at his direction some stood still wondering what was happening and the few shinobies began to take action.

Soma began to perform hand signs as he his body erupted into green flames then began to twist and engulf itself, Soma aimed the technique towards the shinobies making there way towards him as he launched it at them catching two of them in the process. Once the twisting fire whirlwind made contact with them it send them flying back as they burned alive. The moment the shinobies burned to ash the villagers began to run and scream as they ran towards the back of the village, as he began to laugh out loud "Hehehe..hahaha YES RUN, RUN FOR YOUR LIFES! Soma yelled out as he jumped down towards the village entrance.

Soma could sense several chakra's making there way towards him, as he started to perform another string of hand signs; about ten, 38 inches fireballs began to surround Soma they began to take shape of demon heads as they moved around him like ghost. Soma stood there waiting for them to arrive as he smiled excited for the massacre that will be in display in a short time. Soma search the area for chakra until one of the many chakra's stranded out to him unlike the other ones this one was unique and was interesting in who could that person could have possibly be. "Croc! I think we found a candidate for a heart to take for you" Soma yelled out. In front of him several Shimingakure shinobies appeared ready to die for there village.

True to his premonition, the two visitors atop the hill seemed to have no good will about them today. Or, perhaps if they did so, it was twisted by malice into nonrecognition. To that end, Mr. Three might have been able to sympathize. However, be that as it may, he was not a man who murdered for murder's sake. Wanton killing and the spilling of blood was just another plague of the village system, where no man were truly free. If shinobi had not been bound by these chains, would these two have turned to banditry and bloodlust as they had? Three was not so sure.

All around him rose screams, and even as those guards immediately on duty at the gates had moved to intercept the two, they were dispatched with a merciless ease. The two assailants didn't seem in the business of offering mercy, he figured, another trait that he felt put an amount of difference between them and himself. But perhaps that only meant that he needn't offer them any mercy in turn.

Mr. Three had not anticipated to fight today. Retreat, perhaps, if the authorities from Shimongakure had shooed him away, but they had not. He had been left to preach his own works, and maybe that instilled some slight amount of fondness inside of him that compelled him into motion. More than that, it was some kind of fondness for the civilian and the common people. Three was not the type to sit idly by in the face of needless slaughter.

He is a fire-type, Uji San thought to himself about the man in front of the gates. Not a bad matchup, as his mind began to drift towards the other figure. Between himself and the two men stood a platoon of Shimongakure shinobi, and Three had mixed feelings about assisting them. For the time being, he did not think much of it. The fire-type shinobi had seemed to single out Three specifically. His hands made a few simple motions as he crouched slightly against the ground, molding his chakra, though not yet releasing it.

"I'm still using my heart-- barely," he jeered, hands uncoupling as one ran softly over the cold earth. "Go somewhere else. This village is under my protection today," he warned.

Juan was LIVING as he hunted his prey, face awash in offal and jocularity.

At the base of the hill he had met a charging guard with a clothesline to the solar plexus, nearly snapping the man's frame in two. The missing-nin smiled, a big ugly thing festooned in hungry yellow pearls. For a fraction of a second his face appeared to elongate; no longer Juan nor Wani, this was Ammit, 'devourer of the dead.'

"I'll help myself," he growled, taking a chunk out of the guard's jugular with a sickening squelch. Taut skin burst like a grape under the ravenous pressure of the Crocodile's bite. Hell was running rampant.

A second man at arms loosed an arrow that zipped past Juan's cheek with a sotto voce whoosh. Never one to lose momentum—Doryūsō—Wani cocked a bird seal. Terror took hold of the marksman's face, and there it stayed frozen as the cold cobblestone street beneath his feet formed an ersatz stalagmite that suddenly ran through him coccyx to breastbone. A crop of Shimogakure civilians, having just witnessed a man practically erupt, let loose a collective wail that'd surely haunt a lesser man for a lifetime. Wani's eyes rolled like planets thrown off their axes. But rather than settle his gaze on the fleeing mouthfuls of flesh, shrieking and pissing hysterically this way and that, just begging to turn to cud in Juan's jaw, a more filling morsel piqued the croc's attention.

Twas a rather sickly looking fellow, though he carried an uncanny, off-kilter import about him not unlike the one Juan sensed from Soma. This vibe stirred something in the missing-ninja's bones. He caught himself slavering, blood and saliva dribbling to the stone below. Juan's body shifted uneasily, as if pulled by some cosmic force.

"The sweet blood, oh, it sings to me. It's enough to make a man sick..."

And then he split.

Juan the Crocodile and an actual crocodile burst onto the scene after their macabre mitosis. The braided black beast darted left and his maker right, intending to attack the mysterious being with a two-pronged assault.

The green Demon lantern flames moved around Soma's as he stood still in his spot looking at the guards and shinobies, but someone else joined the game. Soma turned his eyes towards the stranger as the man had his hands on the ground, Soma quickly understood that the man had perform a technique but nothing has happen so either he was waiting for Soma to attack or the technique took time. But his words were the ones that stood out to Soma, as he was protecting this village.

"Do you truly believe you can stop my justification of chaos upon this village? But if you wish to die with this people ill gladly end you" Soma said as his lips began to cross his cheeks as a devilish smile appeard.

From behind him both Crocs charged at the man, Soma decided to turn his attention back towards the Shimongakure Force. Soma raised one arm as he snap his fingers releasing the demon latern flames at them. The shinobies and guards charged at Soma as some avoid the flames but other weren't so lucky as once the flames made contact with them they began to be engulf by the flames as they burned alive. Some shinobies tried to help does the others but Soma took out his trench kunai from his pouch and dashed at them slicing down the shinobies trying to help the others, once he was done with them he turn his attention back towards the stranger.

With him being force to trope the himself against Croc Soma took his time to act. He began to perform a string of handsigns, extanding his hands in separate directions as he created six small fire balls around each hand. The fire balls began to spin around his hand as he then tossed them towards the man aiming at him and avoid contact with Croc.

Despite his warning, neither of the two shinobi seemed intent on backing down. His muddy, fish-eyed gaze observed that the larger of the two men seemed a Doton-user, which made him identical to Mr. Three in that regard. At least in that respect, Three felt that he was not at a disadvantage. However, it was mildly troublesome, as their likely overlapping arsenal of techniques would imply some knowledge of weaknesses and counters. In addition, if the larger man possessed a second element, that could be additionally troubling.

What he could not have predicted, however, was the strange diffusion of the larger man into two creatures - Mr. Three might have called them beasts, but that was practically an endearing term to him. He would have even described himself similarly. Observing them, Three's face broke out into a grin. He had never seen the technique in person - the kinjutsu of Takigakure - but it was as exhilarating as he could imagine. It reminded him of Kenshi, the butcher and medic whom he had previously recruited. He looked forward to seeing what it could do.

Figuring that it would be difficult to battle the two of them at once, Mr. Three opted to try and divide and conquer. The larger man, whom had split in two and seemed to be called Croc, had appeared the much sturdier of them. It would be easier to deal with him alone, Three thought. In addition to this, it was the Fire-type that seemed to call out orders, which made him even more dangerous and integral to be defeated first.

When he was attacked, Three was already prepared. With a slight infusion of chakra, the ground beneath Uji San's feet erupted, lifting him up in a pillar of earth. However, he did not simply raise it vertically; Three raised the earth diagonally, bringing him high into the air to avoid the fireballs, as well as the two larger humanoids' charges. It raised him at great speeds, and pushed him over towards Soma. The pillar held for a time, but eventually, due to its tilted nature, it quickly exceeded its strength with its weight, letting out a mighty crack before falling down to the ground, threatening to crush Soma under its weight as Three landed on the remnant top of the pillar, and hopping from it back onto the ground, placed on the other side of the other missing-nin, a safe distance away.

"I'm already dead," he whispered in reply.
